Platon Oleksandrovych Biletskyi (08.11.1922, Kharkiv - 06.05.1998, Kyiv) – art historian, teacher, painter, professor. He was corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1995), National Award named after Shevchenko (1982). In 1959, he started working at the Kyiv Art Institute (now NAOMA), with which his entire professional life was connected.
